Dryburgh Athletic Community Club are delighted to let you know that Long Serving Dryburgh Athletic Coach Sandy McWilliam has been nominated and selected as the East Region Winner in this year’s Scottish FA Grassroots Awards in the category of Best Volunteer in Girls & Women’s Football.
In partnership with McDonald’s and the Sunday Mail, Sandy has been recognised for the value he has brought to Girls football and to our community.
As Community Partner of the Scottish FA, McDonald's are proud to support the grassroots heroes who work tirelessly across Scotland to deliver football in their communities. The Awards are a testament to the longstanding commitment to supporting grassroots football across Scotland.
Finally, following Sandy’s selection as a Regional Winner his nomination will now go to the national awards panel with the potential of being a National Winner. The successful National Award Winner will be notified during August / September.
