Central Girls FA, Westerlands LFC and Cumbernauld Colts FC Women all withdraw for the 2019 season - FC Kilmarnock 23s, Spartans Develoment and Hamilton Academical 23s accepted early promotion to SWFL 1 for the season.

Musselburgh Windsor Girls & Ladies announce they will be running 2 x 13s teams this season: Musselburgh Windsor Whites & Musselburgh Windsor Blues.

Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale announce they have disbanded their partnership with Hutchison Vale. Hutchison Vale WFC have a new Twitter account: @HutchieValeWFC.

Pollok United Girls Soccer Academy announce 9/1/2019 due to numbers they will unfortunately not be able to run a 15s or 17s for season 2019.

Hearts Women FC announce they have recruited Manchester City Women's technical director Kevin Murphy as part of their drive to invest big time in the women's football.

Celtic FC Women make history by becoming the first Scottish club to field a full - time women's squad. Celtic have committed themselves to a huge investment which can only be a huge boost to the women's game in Scotland.

Glasgow City FC announce their New Head Of Academy will be Jamie Beattie. Jamie has coached in Women & Girls' football for 10 years working with Kilwinning Sports Club, Rangers & LA Galaxy Orange County.

FC Kilmarnock LFC announce Niall Marshall as their new Head of Academy. Niall was previously the Head Coach of SWFL 1 South Westerlands LFC.

Lanarkshire Hibs Girls FC are now a stand alone club. Lanarkshire Hibs 13s. 15s & 15s National Performance will now train at Ravenscraig in Motherwell. Lanarkshire Hibs have a new Twitter account @HibsLanarkshire
